To apply Dialogue and Text patch
1. Download the zip file.
2. Extract the contents of the zip file into the data folder of the game, found in the www folder. Not as a new folder in the data folder, but the actual contents of the zip directly into the data folder. Usually this means choosing “Extract Here”, at least for 7zip.
3. If you see a prompt to overwrite the files or not, select Yes to All.
4. Play the game.

Go into the game folder www>data . Extract or copy the mod files into this folder replacing the old file.
Mac:
Replace the map028.json and common events file wherever that is stored normally under www>data in the game folder
Android:
Basic concept is the same, you need to replace the old files with the new ones. The easiest way I’ve found of doing this is using “Apk editor pro” selecting simple edit , then under assets>data you should find the files. You’ve then have to remove and reinstall the application for the changes to take affect.
Outfit Changing:
I’ve added a new feature this update, it’s still in beta as I’m not sure how well it will scale. It allows you to change the default outfit for people, so when you talk to them you can choose how they will look. This does only change the DEFAULT outfit so if characters are wearing different clothing in a scene they will still where that other clothing. I’ve noticed it can also cause people to stay naked after a sex scene until you change the outfit, not a massive deal though. If you don’t like it or its bugging out for you just select the reset outfits option and that will put it back to normal.

Unzip it into your The Genesis Order game directory (e.g. D:\Games\The_Genesis_Order-PC-v.XYZ – not into a subdirectory) and start it, then wait until all thumbnails have been generated. (It will take a moment, depending on how fast your PC is. Don’t worry, they will be cached, so the player will open nearly instantly the next time you start it.)
If you can’t/won’t copy it into the game directory, you can just start it from anywhere and select the game directory then (again, the game directory itself, and not any subdirectory, so DEFINITELY NOT the “movies” directory. Again: NOT a subdirectory).

Download Video Enhancement Mod
The videos have 2 times the resolution, are in glorious 60FPS (without missing frames this time) and have much more details and a sharper image. I also color-corrected many videos. Source for the videos was the “Patreon-TGO 1.05”. I tested the mod with Patreon TGO 1.05, Steam 1.05 and GOG 1.00 on a Potato-MiniPC.
Before you start: Please make a backup first (just in case).
The mod will replace video-files in the folder “TGO Gamefolder > www > movies”.
Installation is very simple:
Download the mod, extract it into the TGO game-folder and replace the old video-files.
Thats it. You don’t need anything else (no engine-updates or mods needed for max. compatibility).
All 3701 original video-files will be replaced (but not the low-quality ones).
Update:
If you are using the “Non 2K-Version” of the mod (it’s obsolete now), just replace it with this one.
Frequently Asked Questions
The version number shows the progress of the game. The game will be completed when version number reaches v1.00.
Two options:
1. Download the full game from OP (OP = first post on first page).
2. Apply “update-only” files to your current game.
Beware: “Update-only” files need to be applied in chronological order! Means, if you miss an update and you cannot find the missing “update-only” file then you have to re-download the full game! So, make sure you don’t miss a single update!
Users are not bound to download the update-only files for their platform. Means, a Mac user can use files for Windows and a Windows user can use files for Mac to update their game.
Windows/PC: Copy the content of the update-only files into your current game folder and allow files to be merged and replaced. If you don’t want to copy all files just copy and merge the “www” folder with your current game’s “www” folder.

Mac OS: How to update on Mac with Windows update files?
Summary: download the windows update, take its “www” folder and merge it with the “app.nw” folder of the game app.
Detailed steps on how to do this:
1. Copy your game folder (to be able to rollback in case something fails).
2. Download the windows update folder and extract the zip. Open the extracted folder and rename the “www” sub-folder to “app.nw” and copy it.
3. Go to the game folder, right click on the “Game” application and select “Show Package Contents”. There paste the new “app.nw” you copied.
4. In the Package Contents you’ll now find the following folders structure: “app.nw” (the one you just pasted at step 3) and “Contents”>”Ressources”>”app.nw” (the original app.nw). What we want to do is to merge the new and old “app.nw” to have it updated.
To do this: drag and drop while holding the “Option” key the new “app.nw” to the “Contents”>”Ressources” folders. On the pop-up choose the “Merge” option, which will merge the folders.
5. Optional: Delete the extra “app.nw” folder you created at step 3. That way you’ll be all clean and able to repeat this guide for next update!

First of all: TGO isn’t meant to be an incest game like Lust Epidemic and Treasure of Nadia. Therefore, the current incest patch is purely fan-made with no ties to NLT and requires the player to overwrite original game files with modified dialogues!
Since the patch doesn’t simply switch “Landlady” to “Mom” etc. it is required to use matching version numbers of the game and incest patch, which need to be applied for each new version and update!
If the versions don’t match or there is a problem in the modified game files then your game might bug out!
